Redpack play key role in delivering UK launch of new snack product through next-gen packaging capability.

Redpack Packaging Machinery, a UK-headquartered leader in advanced packaging machinery, has successfully delivered three fully automated multi-pack production lines for Europe Snacks at its Stevenage facility – marking a significant milestone in the development of next-generation packaging capability for the UK market.

Delivered over a three-year programme, the project brought together a dedicated project leadership team and a network of specialist partners to engineer and integrate high-performance packaging lines. The new full end to end processing line will be the first to support the UK launch of a new product from a major international snacks brand this spring.

David Blagg, Site Director of Europe Snacks commented: “This project presented a number of complex and unique challenges, making true collaboration across all partners critical to success. We have worked with Redpack on multiple occasions, and their technical expertise, deep industry knowledge, and ability to anticipate and resolve challenges before they materialise made them a key contributor to the successful delivery of this programme.”

Simon Martin of Redpack added: “This project exemplifies the value of early engagement and integrated delivery. By working in close partnership with the client, material specialists, project management team, and delivery partners from the outset, we were able to support every stage of the process—from concept design, material selection through to final implementation—while proactively managing risk and ensuring performance at scale.

At Redpack, we do more than design and supply packaging machinery. We bring over four decades of engineering excellence, delivering intelligent, future-ready solutions that enhance operational efficiency, maximise throughput, and enable our customers to bring innovative products to market with confidence.”

2026 marks 27 years of dedication, expertise, and leadership at Redpack.

From a young age, Matthew had a keen interest in the mechanical and technical aspects of machinery. As a third-generation member of the family business, he began his journey on the shop floor, developing a hands-on understanding of our machinery and processes. Over time, his passion for engineering – including the technical side of software and programming – has continued to grow, shaping both his approach and his contribution to the business today.

That hands-on experience, combined with years of working closely with customers, has given Matthew a deep understanding of the challenges they face and the solutions they need.

His tenure reflects not just longevity, but the depth of knowledge and strategic insight he brings to our operations every day. From shaping processes to guiding our teams, Matthew’s leadership has been instrumental in refining our solutions and keeping Redpack at the forefront of packaging innovation.
