Company History

Redpack was founded in 1977 and is now estabilished into a strong family business, with a real family culture, putting the customer experience at the centre of everything we do.

The Redpack team passion for driving the business forward is reflected in every aspect of the company. Excellent service, innovation and quality is known as Redpack's mantra and the testimonials that we receive from our customers, goes to prove how fundamental these standards are.

The first flow-wrapping machine produced by Redpack was the “Pacer” which quickly became renowned for its durability and ease of use. A testimony to this is that some of the machines produced at this time are still in daily use. In the mid-1990s the "P-series" machines were introduced to the market for the first time, replacing the Pacer series.

Significant investment in R&D in the late 2000s and early 2010s has brought about the new "NTS" Top Seal flow wrappers. Over recent years, Redpack has continued to invest in the latest CNC machinery and 3D printing technology, while continuing to bring out further devlopements and new packaging machinery.

Environmental Policy

At Redpack we are committed to doing more with less by creating high-performing, efficient machines and technologies that use fewer resources. We are in the business of manufacturing; therefore we must address the environmental impacts of our products and our operations and support our suppliers to do the same.

We are constantly looking to improve our impact on the environment. Redpack’s current environmental commitments include the following, but remain under review as we push harder to be better:

  • Monitor and reduce the environmental impacts of our operations and products, in areas including but not limited to energy use, water consumption and waste.
  • Source locally to reduce carbon footprint and CO2 emissions.
  • Reduce primary material usage through the reduction, recovery, and reuse of resources.
  • Improve resource efficiency, targeting waste and pollution, including further adoption of renewable energy supplies.
  • Ensure that employees have a level of knowledge and understanding appropriate to their responsibilities and are aware of actions they can take to reduce their impacts.
  • Complete an annual review of our environmental policy and waste levels.

Specifically in 2023 we have:

  • Increased the fleet of electric vehicles and targeted 2026 to have electric vehicles in all areas, company vehicles, sales team and service vehicles.
  • Segregated all waste streams to improve recycling, reusing etc. Our service provider has zero waste to landfill.
  • Grant funding approved for solar panels to our roof space.
