Dr Vince Cable Visits Redpack
Dr Vince Cable Secretary of State chose Redpack Packaging Machinery as the venue for the launch of the “Growing Business Fund”, a £3m scheme designed to kick start growth.
Dr Cable said: “Redpack clearly is a superb local company. They have got more than 40 local employees here. They are a successful manufacturer, exporting all over the world [for example] in Brazil, Mexico and Malaysia. They have got a full order book and they have got through the recession. The problem they do have is that they want skilled people, which is why we have to invest more in apprenticeships, and if they are really going to expand they are going to need more funding support, so this is why funds like the Growing Business Fund, will be useful.”
Flowpack punneted fresh produce on a Redpack P325 with Phase Feeder Infeed
Redpack Packaging Machinery is supplying two P325E flow wrapping machines with automatic infeeds for a Fresh Produce grower and packer in West Sussex.
A spokesperson from Redpack advises that:
“when these two new machines are delivered the customer will have a total of five Redpack flowrappers demonstrating their total confidence in Redpacks attention to detail and proven after sales support network”
Flowpack Herbs on a Redpack Horizontal Top Seal Flowrapper
Redpack Packaging Machinery has supplied an HTS flow wrapping machine to a client near Dundee, Scotland, for packing collations of herbs.
Loose or Bunched-Basil, Parsley, Coriander, Sage, Tarragon, Dill, Mint, etc. When required by production, the wrapping sequence can be switched to continuous wrapping with machine speed range of between 20-100ppm

Sweetcorn Flowpack on a Redpack P325E flowrapper
Redpack Packaging Machinery are building two new P325E Flow Wrapping Machines for a Suffolk based producer and packer of Sweet corn.
The new machines are being configured to wrap either twin or triple packs of Sweet corn at speeds of up to 120ppm.Manufactured in Stainless Steel the P325’s will have easy to use three axis machine drives with touch screen operator interface and new style adjustable fold box for fast product changeovers.
Film reels are changed by an Auto-Splice unit that operates at full machine speed and loses only two bags thus maximising production time and minimising material waste. The product infeed can be opened providing access to the pusher mechanism for enhanced hygienic clean-down.
Redpack have orders for five more P325S-FI Trayless Apple Flow Wrapping Machines
Redpack Packaging Machinery has won orders for a further five P325S-FI machines for flow wrapping apples without a tray.
Clients are impressed by the new Frictionless Infeed that avoids product damage when apples or delicate fresh product is transported to the wrapping module.
According to Redpack “The P325S-FI trayless flow wrapping machine saves cost, reduces packaging waste and the frictionless infeed transports produce collations without damage”
