Redpack Packaging Machinery suppy 6 new P325S flow wrapping machines to speed up the packing process

Redpack Packaging Machinery have supplied a major Fresh Produce packer in the North of England with 5 new and 1 rebuilt P325S flowrapping machines. All of the flowrappers had sophisticated Quin three axis servo machine drive systems with 10” colour touch screens, simplified operator interface and advanced machine diagnostics. The P325S flowrappers are manufactured in Stainless Steel  with opening infeeds to simplify hygienic clean down and, to minimise reel to reel changeover times, they are fitted with reel Auto-Splice.

Configured dependant upon the type of produce to be wrapped, one P325S flowrapper was configured for Trays of Cherry on vine and speciality tomatoes had an 11 metre in-feed and an operating speed of 110ppm. The rebuilt P325S flowrapper was for Tri-Colour Peppers fitted with an 11 metre in-feed and an operating speed of 80ppm.

For half cucumbers a P325S flowrapper (picture inset) was interfaced to a cucumber cutter that feeds half cucumbers into the in-feed of the flowrapping machine at speeds of 120ppm.

For trayless 6 packs of tomatoes the P325S flowrapper was interfaced to a Redpack Packaging Machinery tomato feeder operating at speeds up to 110ppm.

For trays of tomatoes two of the P325S flowrappers had Redpack Packaging Machinery Phase Feeder infeeds to wrap at speeds of 110ppm

The project was completed against a very tight time scale of 12-16 weeks
